True Love Waits For All The Real Girls

Busted Meth Dealer

Number One Kitty Snuggler/Will Oldham Hype Man Enabler/TR Bearded Heart-Throb Zach Galifiakizizixiziaziz
Strangely I couldn’t find any pictures of Zach with a crazy/beautiful meth face, which I assumed was in every comedian’s facial repertoire. I mean, it was easy enough to find a picture of buzzy comedian Max Silvestri demonstrating it.

“I like attention! To a certain reasonable extent.”
Zach seems to share my “serious photo face” affliction, which I demonstrated to its best effect in squinty and stoic A.Y.S.O. pictures that you may one day be lucky enough to see. Even my best fake smile is horrible. Besides it makes it that much more exciting when you’re caught off guard/on camera actually enjoying yourself.

Zach with that Voices Carry chick and Molly’s Doppelganger Morgan Murphy
Speaking of doppelgangers and impersonators, the soundtrack listing for the Todd Haynes Bob Dylan movie I’m Not There just leaked. The house band are called “The Million Dollar Bashers” and is apparently comprised mostly of Calexico and My Morning Jacket. Glad to see Malkmus gets multiple cuts. I’ve always wanted to segue from “Range Life” into “Maggie’s Farm.”
After watching that Real Dolls documentary, I got in an argument with my friend Jon about whether or not you could make a movie about the Real Dolls phenomenon (and not the Bratz movie). I was like, yes of course, and he was like, no it would never not just be creepy.

Gosling! Booyakasha!
Guess who won this round! Although considering he’s got a moustache and is wearing a Christmas sweater and ski jackets and is Ryan Gosling it seems a very thin line between social/sexual deviant and member of indie rock band/Brooklyn resident. Or is it just that indie rockers/Brooklyn residents all dress like pederasts now?

O.G Indie Rock Beardo Doug Martsch and Built To Spill
Also taking into account that Paul Schneider and Patricia Clarkson are both in this movie (not to mention the title) leads me to believe it’s actually just a remix of “All The Real Girls” where we find out that Zooey Deschanel’s character was actually a mannequin all along and that’s why she appeared so glassy eyed and doll-like. In fact, this movie sounds like it’s a tragicomic remake of Mannequin.
to recap:
