In Which The Prospect of Having a Digital Camcorder Is Probably Actually Too Much Excitement For Us To Bear

Digital Made Simple

It started when I first thought that with all the crazy stuff you see everyday in New York, I should probably be recording some of it for posterity.

But it immediately became annoying once I got the actual camera. I already think my own experience is important, but once it’s on film you realize how boring it is.

“Magical Machines” — Swedish for Beginners

I try to improve and get better and make less boring videos than ones of me showing what it is like to look at New York from a car. This weekend for Gideon’s bachelor party I tried my best to not just take video of people sleeping, but it was hard.

This video is appropriately titled, He Looks Like An Angel.

Composition is important. I need a Steadicam though as you can see me wobbling from the excitement of Morgan’s graceful dive.

So hot right now.

“Solsbury Hill” — Peter Gabriel

Appropriately, this was my last video of the weekend.

Who am I kidding? This camera was the best thing ever to happen to me. Buy one here. You’ll pay a lot less than what I paid three months ago.
